Tees Barrage - White Water Course Upgrade

Upgrade to White Water Course includes the installation of four Archimedes screw type pumps that enable water to be pumped to the top of the white water course when required. Then the pumps are not in use they will reverse to generate over 600 kilowatts of electricity. The project also includes hydraulic installation, course lighting, plant cooling and sophisticated course control systems.
